Program Description

Mercy Staffing Workforce Notifications is an SMS program that sends operational messages to employees and contracted workers including shift availability alerts, shift confirmations, scheduling reminders, credential expiry notices, and time-sensitive staffing updates.

Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on scheduling activity and operational needs. You may receive multiple messages per week during active scheduling periods.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan's SMS and data charges.

SMS Consent & Opt-In

By submitting your mobile phone number during onboarding or application, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Mercy Staffing for operational purposes including shift notifications, confirmations, reminders, and credential alerts. Consent is not a condition of employment or continued staffing assignments.

Staffing Services

Mercy Staffing provides healthcare staffing services connecting qualified clinical professionals with client facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and surrounding regions. Services include:

• Matching workers with shift opportunities based on credentials and availability
• Managing scheduling, shift confirmations, and staffing communications
• Processing payroll and maintaining employment records
• Verifying professional licenses and conducting compliance checks
• Providing access to our workforce management portal

Worker Eligibility

To work through Mercy Staffing you must hold a valid active professional license, maintain all required credentials, provide accurate onboarding information, comply with applicable healthcare regulations, and notify Mercy Staffing promptly if you are unable to fulfill a confirmed shift.

Credentials & Compliance

You are responsible for maintaining current licenses and certifications. Mercy Staffing conducts periodic compliance checks including verification against federal and state exclusion databases (OIG, SAM.gov). Workers with lapsed credentials may be removed from scheduling until resolved.

Confidentiality & HIPAA

In the course of assignments you may have access to protected health information (PHI). You agree to maintain strict patient confidentiality, access only minimum necessary information, and comply with all HIPAA requirements. Violations may result in immediate termination and reporting to applicable licensing boards.

Limitation of Liability

Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mercy Staffing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed amounts paid to you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

Modifications

Mercy Staffing reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or email. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
